"Zhoghovurd": Robert Kocharyan promised to pay Samvel Babayan`s debts.

The newspaper writes, "'"Zhoghovurd" daily got information that in the coming future former commander of NKR Defense Army Samvel Babayan will return to Armenia. The latter gathering big sums of money from his friends had disappeared for a long-term. According to circulating news, RA second president Robert Kocharyan promised to pay Babayan`s debts, bail out his and his friends` houses, in condition that the general will become opposition for incumbent president Serzh Sargsyan and will actively work against him. According to the same sources, Babayan gave his preliminary agreement. Moreover, Samvel Babayan should become opposition both for president Serzh Sargsyan and ANC leader Levon-Ter Petrosyan. So far the date of his arrival is unknown. Robert Kocharyan`s spokesman Viktor Soghomonyan during the talk with our correspondent denied the information, considering them false."
