Passenger of LOT Polish Airlines flight reports fuel leak and prevents catastrophe

A passenger has saved lives of other passengers of LOT Polish Airlines flight heading from Warsaw to New York after he reported a fuel leak from the plane’s wing to the crew.

The flight was delayed immediately. The defect was repaired and the plane left the airport after a 6-hour delay.
According to the airline’s spokesperson, such incidents are rare and the situation will be investigated thoroughly.
The company has decided to grant a reward to the attentive passenger, Lifenews.ru reported.
