Syrian rebels claim to down army chopper

Armed Syrian rebels have allegedly shot down an army helicopter in eastern Syria’s Deir ez-Zor province, the London-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights says.

The chopper was reportedly carrying eight troops who died in the crash.
