Something that does not exist
Political
Yesterday, on May 5 municipal elections were held in Yerevan. The Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), the "Rule of Law" (RL), "Prosperous Armenia" Party (PAP), Armenian National Congress (ANC), "Arakelutyun" Party ("Mission"), ARF "Dashnaktsutyun" (ARF-D), and the union of parties- "Hello, Yerevan" ("Barev, Yerevan") participated in the elections. According to CEC, 3 political forces will be presented in Council of Elders- Armenian "Republican" Party 235512 (55,89%), "Prosperous Armenia" Party 97189 (23,07%), "Hello Yerevan" Alliance 35732 (8,48%).
Perhaps the process was similar to the previous elections- calls about bribes, frauds, etc. As a result "permanent winner" has not changed.
"New Times" party leader Aram Karapetyan was not surprised at the election results, he expected that and were not novelty for him.
In a conversation with Lurer.com the head of the party said that our entire political field is busy with something that does not exist. "Elections do not exist in Armenia, everything is imitation. We entered into a process, in which nothing is changed" Aram Karapetian said, adding that the election can not be held and will not be held in any way in Armenia until the situation changes.
