Jerusalem Holy Fire arrives in Magadan

he Holy Fire that came down on the believers, who gathered in the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem on Holy Saturday, was brought to Russia on the same day and has since arrived at Magadan airport, in the Arctic Circle.

The RIA Novosti news agency quotes an official of the Magadan Eparchy as saying that the Fire is currently being taken to all churches of the region, and also to the local hospitals and kindergartens.

The Holy Fire miraculously comes down on believers and the clergy in the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem on Holy Saturday of the Passion Week, as was the case last Saturday.

The Divine Flame was brought to Moscow, from where it was delivered to other Russian cities.
