US Secretary of State to visit Moscow in May
USA
During his visit to Moscow on the 7th -8th of May US Secretary of State John Kerry will outline the US position on the Iranian nuclear problem and the situation in Syria and the Korean Peninsula, Director of the Institute of Strategic Planning and Forecasting Alexander Gusev told The Voice of Russia.
Naturally, Russian-US relations will be in the focus of attention during John Kerry’s meetings with President Vladimir Putin and Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
The Russian expert believes that ‘resetting’ which was so much spoken about during Barack Obama’s first presidential term has turned into a ‘cold peace’. This does not suit either Russia or the US because both our countries see our bilateral relations as a priority in our foreign policy.
Gusev considers John Kerry’s visit to Moscow a good reason to finally start making agreements.
