"Haykakan Zhamanak": The issue of coalition formation of PAP-RPA has not been discussed

Today or tomorrow the composition of the new government of Armenia will be announced.

Although the deadline for the formation of the government - May 9, because this is not a working day, behind the scenes authorities say that everything will be decided before then.

A few weeks ago "Haykakan Zhamanak" wrote that the new government will depend on the election of the Council of Elders and the distribution of forces. Yesterday behind the scenes there was talk of a possible meeting of Serzh Sargsyan and Gagik Tsarukyan, which, according to some reports, can take place today.

Both the Republican Party, and the PAP, yesterday in a private conversation with a correspondent of the newspaper reported that the issue of coalition formation has not yet been discussed. RPA yesterday officially announced that they were open to cooperation, although one wing of the party opposed inclusion in a coalition with the PAP.

If the parties are unable to agree, as part of the new government, as representatives of the Republican Party assure, any significant changes ar not going to happen.
