The car fell into the canyon in Syunik region. 2 died, one hospitalized.

On Jan.18, at about 23:00pm a fatal accident occurred in Syunik region of Armenia. As photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan informed LURER.com, a VAZ 2106 - 08 SS 944 model automobile fell into the canyon, on Yerevan-Meghri highway, near Karahunj village.
A firefighting-rescue squad was dispatched to the scene.
A VAZ 2106 had gone off the road, for yet unknown reasons, and fallen into the nearby canyon.
The firefighter-rescuers removed from the vehicle the dead bodies of its driver, Goris resident Gevorg Shatunts, 40, and passenger, Hartashen village resident Ashkhen Levonyan, 43. They also rescued Tegh village resident Aram Danielyan, 21, who was injured and was transferred to Goris medical center. The doctors say he is in severe condition.
A criminal case has been launched on the case in Syunik police investigation department.
