Robbery at Sydney takeaway fails because of chilli sauce (video)

An employee from a Sydney takeaway has thwarted a robbery by throwing a bucket of chilli in the face of the would-be perpetrator. The failed thief was left with burns and later charged with assault with intent to rob.
24-year-old Tyrone Holmwood ordered some food in a Sydney takeaway shop, but started an argument with staff over payment. He then walked behind the counter and attempted to open the cash register.
27-year-old Joanna Tarnoski, working that day at the shop tried to stop him, but he struck her across the chest. Then she threw a bucket of chilli in his face,Sky News reports
“I didn't think twice, I just wanted to protect myself. I threw all the chilli on his face here and then he got crazy because of that,” Ms Tarnoski said as cited by mass media.
