Late Russian oligarch Boris Berezovsky to be buried on Wednesday

The late tycoon Boris Berezovsky will be buried on May 8, a source close to the oligarch’s relatives has told the independent radio station Dozhd, Gazeta.ru reported.

The location of self-exiled billionaire’s final resting place hasn’t been made known.

Earlier reports suggested that Berezovsky would be put to rest on Monday. But the ceremony was allegedly called off after the media blackout surrounding his burial was blown by journalists who the relatives feared would swamp the cemetery.

Meanwhile, investigation is under way to determine the cause of Boris Berezovsky’s death. The British coroner’s spokesperson told reporters no breakthroughs were expected in the case since the police were still waiting on results of the autopsy.
