Youth World Weightlifting Championships, which passed in Peru capital Lima on May 7, the representative of Armenia, Andranik Karapetyan from Samarkand won a bronze medal.

Karapetyan scored 340 (160 +180) kg in the snatch in 77 kg weight class, taking the third place.
