State of emergency declared in Rostov Region due to train crash

11 people are reported to have been injured after a train ran off the tracks in the Rostov Region near the Belaya Kalitva station, where a state of emergency has been declared.
A fire broke out at the crash which is covered with thick smoke and emergency personnel cannot get close to the tracks because of the raging flames which cover an area of 1,500 square meters.
An inter-agency operational headquarters has been set up at the location to eliminate the fire and its aftermath and the governor of the region Vasily Golubev is also at the scene.
