"Zhoghovurd": RA authorities do not rush to abandon death penalty

Although after the constitutional amendments of RA in 2005 death penalty was abolished, but the authorities of Armenia do not rush to abandon death penalty. The newspaper "Zhoghovurd" found that the required issue for four-day agenda of the National Assembly of RA 2007 Protocol N13 «On the abolition of the death penalty in all circumstances" signed in Vilnius on May 3, 2002 Convention on "Protection of human rights and fundamental freedoms" was not discussed or put to vote.
