Over 11,000 Russian troops participate in Military Parade in Red Square

Over 11,000 Russian troops of all sorts take part in the 139th military parade in Red Square.

Marching in the first lines are infantry battalions, followed by military vehicles and aircraft that are to wrap up the parade with an air show.

To improve the quality of the 2013 parade, the military has been increasing the number of war games, with the major military drills codenamed as Zapad 2013 (West 2013).
