All interstate roadways and mountain passes in Armenia are open for traffic as of January 20, 12:00 noon.

Only Selim mountain pass and Berd-Chambarak section is closed because of ground surface icing. Roads in Alaverdi and Noyemberyan are also covered with glare ice while those connecting Ashots-Bavra, Noyemberyan-Voskepar, Gyumri-Jajur, Gyumri-Keti, Kuchak-Aparan and Tashir-Gogavan are difficult to pass due to poor visibility and heavy snowfall.

Snow is being cleared off the roads, reports the Ministry of Transport and Communication.
