Cyber bank robbers arrested in U.S.

Seven people have been arrested in the United States on suspicion of stealing at least $ 45 million off debit cards issued by two Middle Eastern banks, prosecutors said on Thursday in New York.
The hackers, who resided in the New York suburbs, in October 2012 and February of this year, pulled off two operations involving theft of cash, each of which lasted only a few hours.
The hackers broke into the computer database of processing companies and stole data on thousands of MasterCard debit cards, issued by the banks of the United Arab Emirates and Oman. The stolen information was then passed on to their accomplices in 26 countries, who withdraw cash from ATMs.
It was discovered that in New York alone they stole $ 2.8 million.
