The newspaper writes, "Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) is discussing the parliamentary candidacy nomination of PAP member Vahan Karapetyan (a.k.a. Vahanik) in Ajapnyak district`s N.6 precinct with majoritarian electoral system.

The incumbent MP, Republican member Harutyun Pambukyan will not be nominated. From this district intention of becoming PM has RA Prosecutor General`s brother - the current head of Ajapnyak administrative region Ruben Hovsepyan. PAP member Vahanik is the close friend of famous boxer Vic Darchinyan. PAP`s Ajapnyak administrative structure`s head Artak Nazaryan yesterday informed us, that the final decision was not yet made, but Vahan Karapetyan was the most likely candidate. The decision will be made when Karapetyan returns to Armenia. According to Nazaryan, the latter is a lawyer by profession, also has several businesses. PAP has one more candidate in this district - Garegin Baghdasaryan. And if  Vahan decides not to be nominated, which is of less possibility, PAP will nominate Baghdasaryan".
