New details revealed over burned body found in Gyumri city.

New details have become known with respect to a young woman’s dead body which was discovered Friday in Armenia’s Gyumri city.
The burnt body of the woman, who is assumed to be Gyumri resident Mari Davtyan, 21, in all probability was discovered after her killing and setting to fire, Police Force Gyumri Precinct informed.
And according to Gyumri Police Chief Varuzhan Shashikyan, the investigation will determine the cause of the murder. He did not deny this was a murder, and added that after the killing the body was burned to eliminate the traces.
Shirak Regional Police Investigation Division Chief Karush Tovmasyan informed that Mari Davtyan’s one-year-old child was handed to the children’s home.
To note, the police discovered Friday, at the basement of the damaged building of Gyumri’s former Polytechnic Institute, the body of a woman who was burned and torn to pieces. Seventy-percent of the body was burned. A forensic medical examination is being conducted.
