Police detained the young people for illegal tree-cutting at Sevan National Park.

Armenia’s Police Force received a call, on Friday, that trees were illegally cut at Akhtamar forest section of Sevan National Park, photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan informed LURER.com.
Just on the same day the police detained Tsovagyugh village residents, all 22 year old - Tovmas T., Zaven T., Artak Kh., and Vahagn T. - who had illegally cut ten pine trees at the aforesaid forest section, on Wednesday.
Tovmas T. handed over the saw and the axe they used in order to cut the trees.
The material damage is being assessed, and an investigation is underway.
