Russian scientists invent cellular level testing device

Scientists at the Vector State Research Center of Virology and Biotechnology, together with colleagues from the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences, have invented a device for the diagnosis of diseases at the cellular level stated the press center at Koltsovo in the Novosibirsk region, where the device was developed.

The device a plate with two electrodes onto which a drop of blood is placed and then passed through a high frequency current. Healthy and diseased erythrocytes exposed to the current move differently.
With the new device up to 15 people can be diagnosed in an hour.
