Thousands in Spain protest education cuts

Thousands of teachers and students took to the streets across Spain to protest spending cuts targeting the country's public education system. Protests were held in Madrid, Barcelona, Seville, Valencia and Zaragoza. The demonstrators also vent dissatisfaction with the Spanish Government’s steps to get the country out of the crisis.
Citizens also called for changing the government, if the current one was unable to cope with the situation.
Earlier, the UN issued a forecast that Spain's GDP drop this year by 1.4%, as Eurostat announced the unemployment rate in Spain could reach 28 %.
