Tito: "We've been the best team in la Liga by a long way"

"From the start, we had a clear objective to win the first fifteen games to try and pull ahead. When everyone thought la Liga was won, we pushed hard to keep ourselves there. If we had let ourselves think it was easy, we would have struggled", Tito Vilanova said about winning the Spanish league title.

The coach was emphatic when asked about the direct clashes against Real: "We're the best team in this league, and by a long way too. We drew at Camp Nou and, if we had been awarded the penalty in the last minute at the Bernabéu, we would have drawn there too. They haven't dropped many points in the second half of the season, if they had, the gap would be even bigger. We've had five illegal goals scored against us which hasn't helped us".
