Armenia and Belarus intend to create joint venture on agricultural machinery assembly

Armenia and Belarus plan to create a joint venture to assemble agricultural machinery.
The matter was discussed during the Monday meeting of Armenian Agriculture Minister Sergo Karapetyan and his Belarus counterpart Leonid Zayats, BELTA reported.
Armenia would like to cooperate in areas like seed breeding, cattle breeding, supplies of mineral fertilizers and pesticides.
“We are also very interested in purchasing Belarusian farm machines. We have agreed that this year we will start setting up a joint venture to assemble agricultural machines in Armenia,” Sergo Karapetyan announced.
