PAP takes mandates

On May 5 municipal elections were held. According to the results of the election, only three political parties from 7 will be involved in the Council of Elders- the Republican Party (55.89%), PAP (23.07%) and "Hello, Yerevan" block (8.48%). ARF-D, ANC and "Mission" parties were not able to collect a minimum of 6% of votes.

In a talk with Lurer.com PAP spokesman Tigran Urikhanyan said that they would take mandates.

"Yes, the prevailing opinion ithat 100 000 votes, that people gave, would be justified with qualified work, raising problems, solving them and to work in the communities, streets, and not just in working rooms, has finally prevailed and the final decision is this", Urikhanyan said.
