“Turkey’s position of denial will be greatly exhausted, if France passes Armenian Genocide penalization bill,” Armenian expert Hakob Chakryan said in a news conference.

“Denial is Turkey’s official thesis. Hence, Turkish official thesis for Armenian Genocide issue is risked,” expert said.

Referring to the potential consequences of a bill that will be discussed today in French Senate, Chakryan has said it will contribute to the formation of a cohesive approach among the EU states for the Armenian Genocide issue.

“If a cohesive approach is formed, it will mean international recognition process gets more intensified,” expert said.
