PACE Winter Session is set to convene.

The Winter Session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) will be held from Monday to Friday.

During the event, human rights issues will be discussed, and Great Britain will assume Council of Europe Commission Chairmanship.   

Also, PACE President’s election will be held, during which France’s Jean-Claude Mignon is expected to replace Turkey’s Mevlut Cavusoglu.

The tenure of Thomas Hammarberg, the Human Rights Commissioner of the Council of Europe, is coming to an end, too, and therefore a new Commissioner will be elected during PACE’s session. 

Armenia’s delegation at PACE Winter Session comprises delegation head Davit Harutyunyan, and members Naira Zohrabyan, Armen Rustamyan, Hermine Naghdalyan, and Zaruhi Postanjyan.
