The newly elected president of the CE Parliamentary Assembly, Jean-Claude Mignon from France, stated he, as a French MP, objects to the approval of the Armenian Genocide bill.
It is not MPs business to write history. It is historians’ business, Mignon said as quoted by the Azerbaijan-based APA news agency. France has admitted all its past mistakes, he said, wishing Turkey to do the same.
