Political
Today, on January 24, during the interview with the reporters, Republican spokesman, NA deputy chairman Edward Sharmazanov, answered to the question of LURER.com correspondent, whether the Armenian National Assembly is going to carry out any steps (fines, sanctions) against the cursing deputies or not.
As an example the reporter mentioned the case of Republican MP Harutyun Karagyozyan. On Jan. 19, during the trial of Armenia’s former Road Police Chief Margar Ohanyan, which was being held at capital Yerevan’s Kentron and Nork Marash General Jurisdiction Court, MP Harutyun Karagyozyan not being allowed to attend the court session, cursed the bailiff and left. The NA deputy chairman, as a response to the question, said, "This issue should be solved by legislative bodies." And to the question whether Sharmazanov would take any measure to stop this 'tradition' of cursing by deputies, the latter mentioned that he did not see any problem to turn to deputies.
