The events dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the Armenian Army started with Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan’s visit to Armenia’s Council of Veteran’s Union.

The minister congratulated the WW II and Artsakh war veterans on the national holiday, the press service of Armenia’s Ministry of Defense informed.

“It is not a coincidence that we start the events dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the army from visiting this institution. We inherited courage from our grandfathers and won the war,” the minister told the veterans.

Seyran Ohanyan awarded some veterans an ‘Armed Forces of Republic of Armenia: 20 years’ jubilee medal.
