PAP leader Gagik Tsarukyan sent gratitude letter to the President of French Senate.

"Prosperous Armenia" party leader Gagik Tsarukyan sent a gratitude letter to French Senate President Jean-Pierre Bel. The letter particularly reads:

"Honorable Mr. President of the Senate,

Please accept our deepest appreciation from the political council of "Prosperous Armenia" party, PAP faction in the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia and personally from me for adoption of the law subject to criminal prosecution for denying the Armenian Genocide.

By adopting this law, France has once again proven its dedication to high human values, and set an important barrier against willingness to deny this undeniable historical fact. On 23^rd of January 2012 adopted in the Senate this historical document is a logical extension to adopt in 2001 the law condemning the Armenian Genocide by the French Parliament, which gives hope that the international recognition and condemnation of the Armenian Genocide will end successfully.

We also hope that this step of a big and reliable friend of the Armenian people Republic of France will set an example for the parliaments of other European Union and the world countries.
