Armenian Grand Master Levon Aronyan took advantage over Anish Giri with black figures in the 10th round of the Tata Steel international tournament in Dutch town of Wijk aan Zee. He leads the table with 7, 5 points, Armchess.am reports.
In this round, Boris Gelfand (Israel) played draw with Azerbaijani Vugar Gashimov. Naamura from the USA shared the point with Magnus Carlsen. Czech Davit Navara conceded Ukrainian Vassily Ivanchuk, Azerbaijani Temur Rajabov and Dutch Luk van Velly played draw, Russian Sergey Karyakin defeated American Gata Kamsky, and Bulgarian V. Topalov defeated Italian Francesco Karuana.
After 10 rounds Levon Aronyan leads the tournament with 7, 5 points, Vassily Ivanchuk is in the second place with 6, 5 points.
Carlsen and Rajabov have scored 6 points and occupy the 3 and 4th places.
