Armenia's Marxist party leader Davit Hakobyan will come forth in the 41st precinct with majority system in the upcoming parliamentary elections, Hakobyan himself told in a news conference on Friday, excluding the possibility of running for parliamentary elections with an alliance.
He noted that his party’s members will nominate themselves with the majority system, and that he will vie for a parliamentary seat from Tavush Region.
He said Marxist party has worked out a number of pre-electoral mottos ahead of the coming elections, one of them is creation of new Constitution.
"The powerful will be the president who will make the state budget reach at least 10 billion USD and the number of population 10 million," the leader of the party said. David Hakobyan said the most important issues the nation is facing are political unity and ideological unity.
The leader of the Marxist party noted that the future MPs must pass three exams – Armenian and world history, rhetoric and economics.
"Member of parliament must be 35-65 years old and must not have right to be elected more than twice," he said.
