On the occasion of 20th anniversary of creation of Armenian Armed Forces, soldier Rubik Mikayelyan has hit a new record doing 7550 press-up in 4 hours and 35 minutes.

The record has been logged by a commission chaired by representative of Guinness Records Office Vardan Tovmasyan. Mikayelyan’s success will first be recorded in Armenia’s Records Book and then will be sent to London-based Guinness Records Office to be registered there.

Sambo wrestler Rubik Mikayelyan serves in Armenian Army for 8 months and plans to do 10000 press-ups by the end of his service.
