Hovik Abrahamyan bids farewell to Norway’s outgoing ambassador

On May 29 the RA NA President Hovik Abrahamyan received Knut Hauge, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Norway, on the completion of his diplomatic mission.

The President of the Parliament thanked the Ambassador for the contribution to the Armenian-Norwegian inner-state relations and wished him success in the further work. Recording the activation of the Armenian-Norwegian relations, the NA President Hovik Abrahamyan deemed necessary the development and deepening of the inter-parliamentary relations and the cooperation in international structures. The Head of the Parliament highlighted the development of the trade-economic relations.

The Ambassador Hauge thanked the NA President for the effective cooperation. Highly appreciating the current level of the bilateral relations the Ambassador highlighted the development of the inter-parliamentary relations both in bilateral and multilateral formats. He has expressed conviction that there is a big potential of cooperation also in the sphere of economy.

In the course of the meeting the sides also touched upon other issues.
