Square named Armenia was opened in Puerto Williams city, Chile, on Jan. 29 with a cross-stone set up in the square.
The initiative to donate a cross-stone to the city belongs to Argentinean-Armenian businessman, head of Corporación América Eduardo Eurnekian, Armenian MFA press service informed.
Eduardo Eurnekian, Armenian Ambassador to Argentina and Chile Vladimir Karmirshalian, Armenian Consul in Chile Eduardo Guarachi and representatives of local media participated in the event.
