Armenia’s Deputy Parliament Speaker responds to Azerbaijani counterpart.

In response to the January 30 statement of vice speaker of the Azerbaijani Mili Mejlis Bahar Muradova that France should be replaced by Turkey as the Minsk Group co-chairing country, deputy speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia Eduard Sharmazamnov released a statement:

"With the stubbornness of a known animal, Azerbaijan once again puts itself in a ridiculous situation. It is just necessary to read January 23 trilateral statement in Sochi signed by Aliyev which says that the issue must be solved in exclusively peaceful way and that co-chairing countries – Russia, the USA and France – must have active role in the settlement of the conflict till the establishment of final peace and security in the region. For another time Azerbaijan appeared in inconvenient position. Like it is said they tried their best but it turned out as always."
