President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko received today the delegates who arrived in Minsk to participate in the meeting of the CIS Council of Heads of Government.
Welcoming the guests, among who is Armenia’s PM Tigran Sargsyan, Lukashenko said that the consolidation over the CIS and the cooperation attempt have created good prerequisites for revealing new prospects in integration processes. According to him, it is necessary to boost more the cooperation among the CIS countries as it stems from the interests of not only the states but the peoples as well.
The President of Belarus stressed the significance of the free trade agreement within the framework of the CIS and noted that such examples of economic cooperation must be more.
Today in the morning Armenian PM met with his counterpart Mikhail Myasnikovich and discussed wide-range of issues on developing bilateral economic cooperation. The interlocutors referred to the import of agricultural engineering from Belarus to Armenia, export of agricultural products from Armenia to Belarus, partnership between techno parks in Belarus and Armenia’s Gyumri. Tigran Sargsyan and Mikhail Myasnikovich discussed also the possibility of production of Belarusian agricultural engineering in Armenia. The interlocutors also exchanged thoughts over the participation of the parties in the integration processes in the CIS region.
