New York Times. Michelle Obama has gay rights protestor kicked out of fundraiser

Yesterday evening, at a democratic fundraiser the first lady had a showdown with a woman in the crowd. The heckler screamed about gay rights' policies, and then was taken out by democratic adherents.
Michelle Obama got as far as 12 minutes into her speech, which was an estimated 20 minutes long, when the ranting from the woman began. The woman demanded for Michelle’s husband to enact an executive order which would prohibit the discrimination against workers solely on the basis of gender identity and sexual orientation.
However, her husband may have let the protestor speak their voice, but his wife is far different. Instead, Michelle directly spoke to her. She left the podium and got closer and closer to the demonstrator. “One of the things I don’t do well is this,” she said, to an audience who started clapping. She said the protester could “listen to me, or you can take the mike, but I’m leaving. You all decide. You have one choice.”
Disturbed by the ultimatum, the audience members pleaded for Mrs. Obama not to leave. “You need to go!” is what one woman yelled out to the protestor who was close by. People from the audience showed the bothersome demonstrator the door. When the democratic supporters were pushing her out, she claimed she was a “lesbian looking for federal equality before I die.”
Gay rights advocacy group GetEqual later admitted that it was one of their own, Ellen Sturtz. Besides Sturtz, three other activists from the same group attended the fundraiser. After the woman was out of the crowd and onto the street, Mrs. Obama continued on with her speech. She talked about policies which will benefit children. Additionally, she encouraged the donators in the audience to keep involved in politics as much as they can, no matter if it an election year.
