British Ambassador visits Armenian Ombudsman’s Office.

The newly appointed British Ambassador to Armenia Katherine Jane Leach on Jan. 31 had a meeting with RA Ombudsman Karen Andreasyan and attached importance to the role of the Human Rights Defender's Office in the protection of human rights and electoral processes.

During the meeting, the parties discussed several issues related to the protection and promotion of human rights, as well as the upcoming parliamentary elections and the involvement of the Ombudsman's Office in the electoral processes.

At the end of the meeting, the participants attached importance to the strengthening of bilateral relations and exchanged concrete proposals for cooperation, which will be discussed in the future.
