President Serzh Sargsyan received the EU Special Representative Philippe Lefort.

President Serzh Sargsyan received on Jan. 31 the EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the Crisis in Georgia Philippe Lefort.

The parties discussed issues pertinent to the Armenia-EU relations and regional cooperation. Discussed were also the latest developments in the Nagorno Karabakh peace process and regional problems.

Presenting the position of the European Union, the EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the Crisis in Georgia Philippe Lefort underscored that the NK peace process in the framework of the OSCE Minsk Group has no alternatives, and that the change of the negotiations format will not be effective.
