Defense minister Seyran Ohanyan visited Vazgen Sargsyan’s family.

Armenian Minister of Defense Seyran Ohanyan visited family of Sparapet Vazgen Sargsyan and congratulated them on the occasion of 20th anniversary of the formulation of Armenian Armed forces. Press service of Armenian Ministry of Defense informs about this.

Seyran Ohanyan accompanied with his wife Ruzanna Khachatryan also visited Vazgen Sargsyan’s museum and made a note in the note-book of the museum. Mr. Minister wrote the following lines of the gratitude: “My family and me are bending in front of our lovely friend Sparapet Vazgen Sargsyan. We promise to keep his memory forever and Armenian Army is following his advices to be always in place to protect Armenian nations’ peace and development”.

Armenian Minister then awarded medal “To my fighting friend” to the museum, which is handed to Vazgen Sargsyan posthumously.

Then Seyran Ohanyan spoke with Vazgen Sargsyan’s parents about Armenian Army, about its achievements and problems. S. Ohanyan also awarded mother of V. Sargsyan Greta Sargsyan with medal “Armenian Armed Forces: 20 years”.
