The Yerevan History Museum has been replenished with a rich collection of Eastern culture, which also includes exclusive exhibits.

The collection is the present of Iranian-Armenian, America-based Rostom Voskanyan to the museum. It was handed by Rostom Voskanyan's brother – Zaven Voskanyan, press service of Yerevan Mayor's Office informed.

Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan attended the museum and got acquainted with the exhibits.

The collection includes accessories used during rituals and everyday life dating back to 17-19th centuries, as well as 2500 year-old coins dating back to Dareh period.

The consultation of experts and designing of historical documents for 2000 exhibits will take several months. So the collection will be exhibited at the end of the year. After familiarizing himself with the exhibits, Yerevan Mayor handed a certificate to Zaven Voskanyan.
