Armenian Government launches large-scale campaign with mass media.

Prime Minister of Armenia Tigran Sargsyan opened the cabinet sitting today with a reference to a number of important issues. The agenda of the sitting was full of serious political decisions.
A large-scale promotional campaign has launched through the media to inform the public about the quality of, and the changes in, public services, Armenian PM Tigran Sargsyan stated prior to the Governmental session.

According to Sargsyan, this refers to publicizing the activities of eighteen departments, and this program is carried out with the assistance by the World Bank.

"We have started a big campaign with the mass media from February 1 the goal of which is to essentially improve the quality of services provided by the state. We will be successive in this issue. For bringing our work to a logical end it is necessary to inform our citizens about changes we are implementing," Tigran Sargsyan said. He underscored the importance of awareness of the citizens which, he said, will give an opportunity to protect their rights.

Armenia’s PM also encouraged all citizens to call the corresponding hotline numbers in case of having problems with the state agencies.
