Yerevan, Ukrainian cities have large cooperation prospects – Yerevan Mayor.

Armenian capital Yerevan’s Mayor Taron Margaryan met with the Ukrainian Ambassador to Armenia, Ivan Kukhta, and presented the main development directions for Yerevan.

Margaryan gave a high assessment to the Armenian-Ukrainian relations, and noted that the friendly ties between Yerevan the Ukrainian cities have a large prospect for extension. The Mayor also stressed that the joint programs in local governance could present an interest in several domains, Yerevan City Hall Press Service informed.

In his turn, the Ukrainian ambassador assured that he will convey the proposals to Ukraine’s state, government, and business circles.

Taron Margaryan expressed a readiness to assist the Ukrainian side in the implementation of joint programs.

The interlocutors also discussed other matters of mutual interest.
