Heritage Party to decidehow to run in the coming elections.

Before the March 2 congress the "Heritage" party enters "a period of self-examination". During these pre-congress weeks the party must decide how it will run for the coming parliamentary elections and whether it wants to run for the elections or not. Leader of the party Raffi Hovhannissyan said speaking to reporters that the party welcomes though delayed but the passing to the proportional election system and hearings connected with it.

"The political will exists to have unprecedented, constitutional, legal election, and we must treat this issue seriously so that neither the winner nor the loser, neither authorities nor opposition complain," Hovhannissyan said. According to him, the contacts with the Free Democrats and other parties, representatives of societies and civil groups will continue. On the threshold of elections "Heritage" will appear in front of the society as an accomplished force, which will publicize its pre-electoral message.

The leader of the party said no discussions over lists took place inside the party or outside of it. The discussions were conducted over principles. The "Heritage" party will continue coming forth with its main guidelines – right of citizen, national interest and sovereignty of the state.
