AMD 26bn housing projects implemented in Armenia’s regions last year.

Last year, AMD 26bn housing projects were completed in Armenia’s regions under the Housing Construction program.

Five residential buildings in Tsaghkahovit, Aragatsotn, and nine buildings in Aralik, Shirak region, were completed, with expenditures totaing AMD 220m, Armenia’s Minister of Urban Development Vardan Vardanyan told journalists.

Last year’s budget envisaged implementation of AMD 34bn programs. Overall, 76 educational institutions (26 in Yerevan and 52 in Armenia’s regions) were renovated, with a total of 4.17bn spent. Also, 16 educational institutions were constructed in Armenia’s regions, with expenditures totaling AMD 1.848bn.
