Tigran Parskevichyan`s and Ara Shirinyan`s documentary film to be presented to the audience.

LURER.com has already informed,that Tigran Parskevichyan and Ara Shirinyan are capturing their next documentary film. During the talk with our correspondent, the authors of the film informed that the film was already completed and soon will be presented to the audience. The film is dedicated to 1946–1948 repatriation, when about 100 thousand Armenians from different countries of the world returned to Soviet Armenia.

These were the Armenians who appeared abroad due to Turkish Genocide and ethnic cleansing in Western Armenia. Part of them returned to Armenia in 40s, leaving their prosperous like abroad. At first about 300, 000 Armenians were registered to retun to motherland but in 1948 the steamboat transferring Armenians suddenly was burnt down in yet unknown circumstances and with this the great Repatriation was over.
