Armenia, Lithuania to continue cooperation in defense sphere.

Ambassador of Armenia to Lithuania Ara Ayvazyan met Thursday with Minister of Defense of Lithuania Rasa Juknevičienė. MFA press office said during the meeting the parties referred to the friendly relations between Armenia and Lithuania, hailed existing partnership between the defense ministries of the two countries and underlined the necessity of continuous inter-ministerial cooperation.

The interlocutors also discussed a number of issues on foreign and regional agenda and referred to the issues of international security. With the request of the ambassador Juknevičienė presented Lithuania's activity within the framework of international organizations as well as cooperation of Baltic countries with the Scandinavian region in the defense sphere.
