ITAR-TASS - Gurbanguly Berdymukhammedov was elected president of Turkmenistan for his second term. On Sunday the winner of the presidential elections that took place on Sunday was announced today the chairman of the CEC Orazmyrat Niyazlyev. According to preliminary voting results, Gurbanguly Berdymukhammedov received 97.14 percent of votes. In 2007 elections, his candidacy received 89.23 percent of votes.
