The activists will hold a march in front of Armenian presidential residence.

A march is planned to take place in downtown Yerevan at 1:00 p.m., February 14.
A group of activists will head from Mashtots Park to the presidential residence demanding the country's leader to remit to the National Assembly [parliament] the bill on amending the law on environmental impact assessment.
Experts insist that the new draft law is anti-environmental and conflicts with the Armenian Constitution and a number of conventions, including those of Espoo and Aarhus.
"Contrary to the demand of the Aarhus Committee, the bill does not envisage real public participation in decision-making, i.e. society is completely isolated from decision-making processes and can only express an opinion.
If our demand is not met, it means destruction of the Armenian environment is directly coordinated by the presidential residence. In that case, we shall take adequate measures to have environmental issues solved once and for all," the group said in a statement.
